Removing Style

HTML provides some character-level elements that allow you to associate style with character strings. You can also remove any associated style from a character string.

To remove style from a character string

  1. Select the character string from within the document from which youwant to remove the style.
  2. Choose Information Type from the Xhtml menu.
  3. From the submenu, select the style command that you want to remove. For example, if you want to remove the emphasis style command from a character string, select emphasis.

    Note:    You can also select styles directly from the keyboard. Keyboard shortcuts are listed on the Xhtml > Information Type submenu and in the following table.

 Note: The attributes of all style commands attributed to any character string are removed when you highlight that text and reselect the style commands.
