ED002 | When two areas overlap, the common area links in Amaya to the target of the last created area, but in Internet Explorer and Mozilla, it links to the target of the first. Of course, I do not think it is a bug (I do not know if W3C recommendation states the expected behaviour), but it would better if the behaviour of the three programs is the same. | 2004-11-17 | B. Sintes
ED004 | I cut and paste an image, the usemap attribute (if present) is lost | 2006-01-10 | B. Sintes
ED009 | If I have Arabic, Chinese, etc, characters in my text, the formatting becomes often awful, with characters on the top of one another. | 2006-01-24 | I. Herman
ED010 | I use tidy and Amaya to manage XHTML documents. A major annoyance is that they break lines differently, introducing a lot of noise in my CVS/RCS history | 2006-01-26 | D. Connolly
ED031 | Print: On some pages, the page numbers don't appear, but the text runs past the page bottom margin to the last line on a page. | 2006-04-18 | L. Kahn
ED047 | I had an external screen attached to my laptop and was using Amaya on the external screen. I detached the external screen, and as is meant to happen the Amaya window moved to the laptop screen automatically. But the 'Open file' dialogue after that, it never displayed on my screen, although Amaya was clearly in a 'modal' state (it would accept no input until I pressed 'escape'). I suspect that the dialogue was being displayed on the now-absent external screen. | 2006--07-05 | S. Pemberton
ED073 | When I close the last tab, Amaya just disappears. It would be better if the main Window stayed open, so that one can open a new document. | 2007-05-15 | M. Dürst | 2007-10-16 |
ED074 | For the object element dialog, could the label include the word
data so that one is sure it is attribute being used.
For the param element could a second entry box be added for the value attribute .... Normally params are set in name/value pairs. |

ED075 | It would be usefull if amaya has a button that saves all the modified documents in one go. | 2007-05-23 | C. de Wijs | 2007-08-27 |
ED076 | The classic "File save" keys shortcut sequence "ALT + f + s" doesn't works well, instead of saving the current page it starts "Send by mail" function. | 2007-07-14 | C. Guglielmetti
ED077 | Areas that reference another page do click correctly, areas that reference the current page should move to the top of page ---> there is no action at all in amaya | 2007-07-16 | J. Russell | 2007-07-17 |
ED078 | Just noted that the dialog box that is opened when a 404 error occurs, is modeless Should it not be made modal ie one must confirm/close the window before entering a new address to look for .... | 2007-07-21 | J. Russell
ED079 | I found a small bug that is described in this scenario:
1- Open an English document (with lang="en" attribute) 2- Open a french document (with lang="fr" attribute) 3- Create a <p> element which contains "here is a small tet" in the English document 4- Select the <p> element (with F2 key) then copy it (with CTRL-C) 5- Paste the <p> in the french document 6- Put your cursor at the <p> beginning and then activate the check spelling function (F7) The check speller will stop on "tet" word but it will still consider that the text is in English. The expected behavior is : either the lang="en" attribute is assigned automatically to the pasted paragraph, or the paragraph language is automatically set to French (internally). |

MAC007 | Dragging an HTML file from the finder to either the Amaya icon in the Dock, or to Amaya itself, does not open that file, as it does in other Mac applications (limitation due to the wxWidgets library) | 2006-01-25 | A. Kotok
MAC010 | Is there a command to put the cursor in the address bar with whole URI selected? This is Ctrl/L or Command/l in most browsers, so one uses sequenecs like (Ctrl-l ctrl-v return) for "Go to URI on clipboard" and Ctrl-l, Ctrl-c for "Copy URL to clipboard". | 2006-01-25 | T. Berners-Lee

MAC019 | The horizontal scroll bar (with its arrows) appears and disappears intermittently. When it disappears (sometimes in the middle of scrolling down a page), the down-arrow in the vertical scroll bar changes to a right-arrow. This is particularly annoying if one is currently using the down-arrow to scroll down and all of a sudden the page scrolls right instead. | 2007-07-19 | L. DeWitt
MAC020 | Preserve Lines When Pasting - Pref does not work in OS X
When pasting text from a variety of sources into the wysiwyg Amaya view, the text all runs together into a single paragraph, and where there were line or paragraph breaks in the source, there is no line break, nor paragraph break, indeed no space at all in Amaya. |
