The implementation is built on top of the Xerces schema component API.

The implementation does canonical generation with a switch to disable generation of paths to the built-in XML Schema type components as well as limited non-canonical schema path generation (generation of abbreviated forms of canonical paths) and some schema path selection.

Namespace bindings can be specified command line arguments.

Schemas are given as URIs on the command line; the URIs are dereferenced against and used to assemble a complete schema. Full designators are not supported.
