 This fixes some compile problems and coredumps
 on Linux, Irix, and AIX.

 This patch adds configure-time checks for ctime_r(), readdir_r(),
 gethostbyname_r(), gethostbyaddr_r(), and getlogin_r().
 I also have a couple of minor modifications to some of the html
 headers to get them to compile with the AIX compiler. The cast in
 HTUtils.html works around the fact that xlc thinks that
 0xFFFFFFFF is too large for a 32-bit enumeration value (weird,
 yes?).

 Finally, there is am increase of the HOSTENT_MAX value. I kept
 running into trouble with the DNS resolver with the default
 buffer size.

1) Moved the wwwconf.h file to {prefix}/include instead of
   {prefix}/include/w3c-libwww
2) Moved the xmlparse.h file to {prefix}/include/w3c-libwww instead of
   {prefix}/include
3) Uncommented the check for the libICE in configure as it is not
   needed anywhere.

JK: simplified files for cvs co and compiling a lite-weight libwww

Commented out the AC_PROG_CXX flag as this can cause problems if a C++
compiler isn't found and as C++ isn't used we might as well just
disable it for now. We may want to use it later, though

Updated configure script to handle new sample application (ptri,stri)

Change the w3c-libwww.spec file to be generated by configure so that
we get the version and name of package compiled in automatically.

First version of new configure script which supports libwww compiled
as many small libraries as well as a single large one. Note that the
Makefile.am's differ depending on how libwww is compiled.
